Paul Generale joined CHRISTUS Health, a Dallas, Texas-based non-profit health system with over 350 facilities, approximately 47,500 employees, and more than $6 billion in assets, in 1998. His responsibilities as the executive vice president of CHRISTUS Health encompass all acquisitions and new business ventures, as well as risk finance management and the development of post-acute services. A Dallas executive, Paul Generale oversees all strategic decisions across the entire healthcare services network.
He has vast experience with the management of multi-million-dollar operating budgets in the healthcare administration field. In 2024, Paul Generale played a driving role in a 15-year, triple-net lease agreement with Global Medical REIT, Inc., a net-lease medical real estate investment trust.
He is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds business administration degrees from Baylor University and the University of Houston, Clear Lake. During his time with CHRISTUS, he has received industry accolades, such as ranking among the Top 150 Healthcare Chief Financial Officers in America.
